RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research focuses on the intersection between String Theory, Cosmology and Particle Physics.
I am very interested in the constraints that a quantum field theory must satisfy to be embedded in a consistent theory of quantum gravity. This has led me to work on the Weak Gravity Conjecture and other Swampland criteria constraining field distances in the moduli space and the absence of generalised global symmetries.
I also work on the realisation of large field inflation and de Sitter in string theory, instabilities of non-susy vacua and different aspects of Type II/F-theory compactifications. I am also interested in the interplay between the Swampland program and mathematics, as well as with conformal bootstrap in AdS/CFT.
